I just did an awesome thing and I want you to know about it! It may sound a little crazy but I just accomplished a 100 day goal. Yes, 100 days sound insane but goals usually don't happen over night. They take time, thought, planning, dedication, and self accountability. Last year, I knew I needed to make some changes and if I didn't jump off the cliff, I'd be up there forever wondering what it felt like to fly. I processed all my thoughts and desires and got serious about what I wanted. Then, my husband found a book that he said had my name written all over it. So I bought it and thus my 100 day journey began with John Lee Dumas's The 100-Day Goal Journal!

I am infamous for starting projects and jumping ship later so this was going to be a test that I had to prove to myself. Could I see this goal and book through? I order it from Amazon for around $10 and upon receiving it, I created a digital spread in InDesign so I could continue to use the book for future goals. I printed my pages, disc bound them and filled out the first section. Then everyday after that, I followed the prompts and forced myself to accomplish my tasks.

An inside look at the daily journal prompts
I did have 10 days of not using the prompts but I felt so guilty and had come so far that I picked up and kept going. It really made me hold myself accountable. Every morning I found something to be grateful about, restated my goal, and set tasks to make progress. In the afternoon, I filled in the other side with wins, what didn't go well, how to fix those issues, rate my discipline and day, and then the question that kept me accountable; "Am I closer to my goal today than I was yesterday?" I wasn't happy about the days I had to check NO.

10-Day Review Prompts
After every ten days, there is a review and a chance to set your next 10 day goal. It was really that easy. I accomplished a huge goal and I plan to use it again for another goal I have! It's one of the most gratifying feelings I have had in a while and I'm confident that if you can use this book to hold yourself accountable for achieving your goals that you will have the same feeling. I am writing this on my 100th day with completion of the journal so give it a chance. John Lee Dumas has amazing resources also on his site Entrepreneurs on Fire. He offers journals, a podcast, and courses for upcoming entrepreneurs.
What was my goal, you ask? To rebrand Micole Elise! I have updated my logo a little, refocused my purpose with the brand, and I am currently working on developing a new website! In fact, my launch date was January 11th but I have still have a ways to go with setting up my website so tomorrow I will be leaking a sneak peak of the homepage on Instagram! I am so excited and so proud of what I have accomplished and I hope that all my hard work will resonate with you all!
Stay tuned for tomorrow's sneak peak!
With Love,
Micole Elise
