30 Elf on the Shelf Ideas

I started the ELF on a Shelf plague last year. I call it a plague because it has never gone away. She asks about Chloe ALL the time. It can be time consuming to pull off all the elf tricks. There are times when I wished Chloe was really magic so she could figure out the grand schemes she would entertain Bailey with. But mom's are magic anyways and we will do anything for our kids to see them smile! With that being said, Chloe will be back tomorrow!

If you don't have an elf and are thinking about getting one, get one that your kids will love. I recommend getting the one that comes with a book! You can purchase a few different outfits for them but they can add up fast. As do the pets they provide for them. I am pretty crafty so I don't really get into those!

I find something for the elf to do everyday to surprise Bailey. Because trying to think of something the night before and being too tired will make you feel like an elf yourself, I make a list of 25 things and then add at least 5 more for extras. I make each idea really vague so I have wiggle room to plan or throw things together. In the mini book below, I listed 30 ideas for you to pick and choose from! I try to keep our elf interested in adventures, books, treats, and art. Pinterest has a ton of amazing ideas as well!
