I hope everyone made it through Thanksgiving in one piece! I am not a huge fan of Back Friday so I usually do not participate in in-store shopping (it's usually not even safe to do so). But I did do some browsing on the days leading up to the event and realized there were 3 celeb/store collaborations that I was excited about! These 3 collections are perfect for the season and at affordable prices! Not to mention I think these 3 women are amazing and the fact that they created these collections makes me want to support them and wear their products!
Gabrielle Union has done a collection with New York & Co. and I wanted to just celebrate the woman she is and all that she has accomplished recently. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Miss Union years ago and she was the sweetest! At that time I had actually cut my hair like she did in the movie Breaking All the Rules and she was quick to tell me hers was a wig for the movie but she really liked my cut! I loved her honesty and laid back personality and I really like this collection! I could see myself wearing a lot of these pieces and feeling fashionable and bossy!

While looking at Gabrielle Union's collection, I noticed that Eva Mendes also had a collection at New York & Co. and I found her collection to be versatile and very holiday appropriate! It shows a sweeter side to Eva vs the sexy bombshell we see her as (think back to the lingerie scene in The Women) and some of the collection has a classic feel to it, like the velvet dress that reminds me of a Sophia Loren look! She even has a few accessories that compliment her pieces so it's easy to put together.

Last but certainly not least is a woman a I have come to admire more and more over seasons of Girlfriends and Blackish is Tracee Ellis Ross! She recently released a collection with JC Penneys and I have already seen a couple of styles I can't wait to get my hands on! I really love her style and hair and she has become one of my favorite characters on her hit show Blackish as Rainbow. She makes her character so relatable and realistic. You would think being the daughter of Diana Ross would place a shadow over you but Tracee really shines bright enough on her own and I think her personality and style come through in her collection!

I really need the Tracee Ellis Ross Striped dress...and the suit! Has anyone gone out and bought any of the pieces? Send pics please if you did! Happy shopping and enjoy your weekend!
With Love,
