Fall Beauty Trends Worth Trying

I have read several magazines, seen many Youtube videos, and been on many sites in order to analyze this season's beauty trends and once seeing them I realized that I wouldn't wear most of these trends and I shouldn't expect that you would want to either. Some of them are great for going out and editorial but what about those of us that just want to go out in general population? So what I did was take some of the looks that are still trendy but feasible for the fashionistas on the go.

1. Hair

Looking for your dramatic Fall Hair look? Try an iconic 60s style, or the latest bob (see Selena Gomez's new chop). Want color? Try the honey bronze multifaceted look or go for a bold color like Merlot. Either way multifaceted hair is sure to get you the look. For a more natural approach, let your curls go wild. The bigger the better and try adding bangs for dimension.

2.Eyes

One of my favorite eye trends this season is the unfinished eyeliner! Adding a pink or peach tone makes the black pop. Support the peach movement by doing a metallic peach eyeshadow with an apricot colored lip. For more dramatic looks, try using highlighting colors all the way around the eye for a halo effect or use a pale color for full lid with a brighter thick eyeliner for a color block effect. Want to update the wet eyeshadow look? Use glitter on top of the wet look for a party night or holiday look.

3. Lips

Two tone lips are one of the biggest trends right now! Line the lips with one color and fill in with another. I think the pink and orange lip below is gorgeous and can be done with plums and reds to get more of a Fall look. Also, the unfinished lip is becoming a big deal. Use a matte lipstick and go over the top lip and bottom middle section with a slightly darker shade that has high gloss. Again, the peach is really popular so any peachy tones in lipstick will do. For a full impact, use a lip primer first! Last, my favorite is this naked high gloss look. Use a creamy satin natural colored lipstick and finish with a high gloss.

4. Nails

If you work in a corporate setting where fun nails are discouraged, you can always do one of the more natural colors below and on the weekend, add these fun cuticle tattoos. Add some stripes to a white manicure or bold stripes to a nude nail. Simple designs are going a long way and may even save you some money and nail damage!

Some of the above trends I will be trying will be the Natural Hair look with a mix of the Merlot look (happy accident), unfinished eyeliner, the naked lip, and cuticle tattoos! I will keep you posted through Instagram on any attempts! Also, I hope to hear about or see your Fall Beauty tips!
